FRSC Launches Eid Road Safety Campaign in Abuja, Karu
In a renewed effort to promote safe travel during the Eid festivities, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), under the leadership of Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, mni, launched a road safety sensitization campaign across key motor parks in Abuja and Nasarawa State on June 4, 2025.
The campaign team, led by the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) Olusegun Ogungbemide, visited Sani Abacha Motor Park in Mararaba, Karu, and Nyanya Motor Park in Abuja, where they engaged drivers and passengers on essential safety practices.
Highlighting the right of every citizen to a safe journey, the team encouraged travelers to download and use the FRSC Mobile App, which offers access to various safety-related services and resources aimed at reducing accidents on Nigerian roads.
Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed personally interacted with some commercial drivers and passengers, urging them to adopt responsible attitudes behind the wheel and take ownership of their safety.
The FRSC says the campaign is part of its broader strategy to curb road crashes and instill a culture of discipline among road users during festive periods.
